Do you think people have the right to be critical about other peoples lives?
I'm not sure if anyone will ever get to see this, but as I watched television today this question ran through my mind. Immediately after Tiger Woods spoke people began to analyze and tear apart what seemed to be not news in the first place. I found myself wondering how a professional golfer received immediate politician status and trumped news while there are so many atrocities in our real world. In addition, what shocked me the most was the immediate response of the media and how people think they are entitled to know everything because of his celebrity status. Yes people do have the right to be critical about other peoples lives, but we need to focus on becoming active world citizens. We need to focus on world issues and not the lives of professional athletes. Lastly, we need to focus on righting wrongs and not wronging rights.
